Gothic Horror.

You are cordially invited to the  annual meeting of the Association of Ghouls and Phantoms.

Originally founded by Roderick Mendlesham during the Victorian era when Gothic romanticism was at its height, the association is not taken too seriously today apart from a few fanatical and possibly deranged members. The rest of the membership see the meetings as a social occasion and a chance to wear the costume of their favourite Ghoul.

Historian Dr. David Mendlesham, the great grandson of the founder has had little to do with the group in the past but has been persuaded to act as guest speaker this evening.

The Association has been plagued by bad press recently due to the suicide of four of its members and has received anonymous warnings not to hold this years meeting. It is hoped that the appearance of Dr. David Mendlesham will provide some good publicity. But will all go to plan?
